Affirmations were the first thing I discovered on my personal development journey. They helped me change my life. I would like to introduce you to positive affirmations and tell you a little about them so you can use them to improve your life too.
Daily positive affirmations are assertive, positive words or phrases which help in directing your focus, therefore, enabling you to accomplish all your dreams and passions in life. You can use these powerful statements to conquer your fears which have prevented you from leading the successful life you deserve to live.
An affirmation is really anything you say or think.
Unfortunately, a lot of what we normally say and think is quite negative. This doesn’t create good experiences for us. So, if you want to get better results in your business or life, you have to retrain your thinking and speaking into positive patterns.

If you would like to create your own affirmation here is how to do it:
Make sure you choose a specific area, behaviour or belief that you’re struggling with.
For instance, do you wish to have more patience? Or would you like a more productive?
Write your affirmation in the present tense.
Write and speak your affirmation as if it’s already happening. This helps you to believe that the statement is true right now. For instance, “I am well-prepared and well-rehearsed, and I can give a great presentation” would be a great affirmation to use if you feel nervous speaking in front of a group.
Turn negatives into positives.
If you are struggling with negative self-talk, note down the persistent thoughts or beliefs that are bothering you. Then choose an affirmation that is the opposite of that thought and belief.
For example, if you habitually think, “I’m not talented enough to run my business,” turn this around and write a positive affirmation such as, “I am a skilled and experienced professional.”
Say it with feeling.
